Mr. Lawrence E. Strickling, US Assistant Secretary for Communication sends an unprecedented letter to ICANN on its performance per the Affirmation of Commitments (AOC) between the two parties. His letter was very critical of ICANN and addresses the US Government’s concern over ICANN approach over its New gTLDs amongst many other issues.
